    Efficiency refined.

    Actros ProCabin

    Efficiency refined.

Design that pays off: the Actros ProCabin combines fuel-saving aerodynamics1, comfort and safety – for even more efficiency on the road.

    Highlights

Working and living under one roof.

Because every litre of fuel counts on long journeys: with its innovative cab design, the Actros ensures even better aerodynamics. It is only sparing in terms of consumption – not in terms of safety and comfort. Numerous assistance systems3  give you that good feeling of being safe on the road. And because relaxed driving also includes relaxing breaks, the interior with its many comfort functions ensures rest and relaxation.3

    Aerodynamics with style.

Simply efficient: the striking aerodynamic design of the ProCabin cab. It reduces the consumption of the Actros L by up to 3 %1. Good looks that pay off – every kilometre of the way.

    Comfort with purpose.

Simply relaxing: assisted driving at a high level with comfortable cab equipment.

    Safety as a system

Simply safer on the road: new and improved assistance systems such as Active Brake Assist 6, Active Sideguard Assist 2 and Active Drive Assist 3. These can detect people, vehicles and objects and help you to react quickly and appropriately.

    Cost effectiveness

    Efficient at first glance.

The 80 mm longer front end enables an even more aerodynamic design. Every detail of the ProCabin has been designed to divert the front air flow with as little drag as possible. The result: an efficiency increase of up to 3%1 compared to its predecessor based on European testing. In combination with the economical 3rd generation OM 471 engine, this is the right choice for greater efficiency on long journeys. In this process, the engine generates plenty of output.

    New drivetrain

Efficiency and comfort at a new level.

A remarkable difference. Thanks to the larger gear spread, the new G291 transmission8, together with the new rear axle ratio of the Actros gives you a completely new driving experience.

The image shows a detailed 3D model of a complex mechanical component: a transmission. It is in shades of grey and placed against a dark grey background with a lighter area at the bottom left.

The larger gear spread in the G291 transmission enables driving at lower speeds. This makes the truck easier, more precise and smoother to manoeuvre.

The image shows a detailed technical representation of a rear axle with transmission parts partially cut open to show the internal mechanisms. The components are in shades of grey, with red accents that highlight the cut surfaces.

The G291 transmission allows faster gear changes in higher gears and thus ensures greater ride comfort and better acceleration characteristics.

A mint-green Mercedes-Benz Actros L with ProCabin drives on a road lined with trees. It is shown from the front. The sun shines brightly and casts a long shadow of the truck on the asphalt.

In combination with the ProCabin, the drivetrain can save up to 3% fuel compared to its predecessor, 1,7.

A man with a beard and a blue shirt sits in the driver’s seat of an Actros L, holding the steering wheel. He looks to the right, while the road in front of him is visible through the windscreen.

The longer gear ratio ensures a low engine speed – and thus less interior noise in the cab.

A large, mint-green Actros L standing on an asphalt surface, with the focus on the front end and the front wheel. Trees and a cloudy sky can be seen in the background.

The finer gear ratio enables more precise gearshifting. For example, when moving off and manoeuvring, the clutch is protected by faster frictional connection.

A man with a beard and a blue shirt sits behind the wheel of an Actros L, smiling. He is holding the steering wheel with both hands while driving on a road bordered by trees.

The longer drivetrain provides the driver with more comfort without compromising on performance.

    Exterior

    Good lighting. Better view.

The most important sensors at the wheel are your eyes. That’s why the Actros makes no compromises when it comes to lighting. All lighting functions feature LED technology. Matrix LED headlights are available as an option for even better lighting performance. This gives you a clear view from behind the wheel – and everyone else an impressive sight.

    Comfort

    Everything at a glance: Multimedia
    Cockpit Interactive 2

The secondary display in Multimedia Cockpit Interactive 2 ensures an even better overview. You can use the touchscreen or the switch panel to quickly and intuitively manage climate control, navigation, telephony, infotainment and more. You can also keep your eyes on the road and relay settings and commands by voice control.

Multimedia Cockpit Interactive 2: Driving becomes smart.

The image shows the spacious and comfortable interior of a modern Mercedes-Benz truck. You can see the steering wheel, the digital displays and the living area with a table and seating, which emphasises the functionality and comfort for long-distance journeys.

    More display, clearer overview.

The new secondary display in Multimedia Cockpit Interactive 2 supplements the central main display and ensures the best possible overall view. You can control functions such as heating, air conditioning, navigation, telephony and lighting via the touchscreen or the multifunction steering wheel – just like the integrated radio infotainment system.

    Multimedia, mega simple.

With voice control, you can keep your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel. The cockpit can be operated intuitively and configured individually. You also have the option of using wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The image shows the modern interior of a Mercedes-Benz truck, with the focus on the steering wheel and the digital displays. There is a digital instrument cluster behind the steering wheel and a large touchscreen in the centre console, which is displaying various functions such as navigation and entertainment.

    Route planning: streamlined.

An efficient and highly automated driving experience: during route guidance, the integrated truck navigation system is connected to Predictive Powertrain Control’s (PPC) anticipatory powertrain control, taking height and weight limits into account.

Full power. Intelligently put on the road.

Comfort meets efficiency: Predictive Powertrain Control is continuously supplied with information about the route by the navigation system. At the touch of a button on the steering wheel, the system knows where you want to go. It can look ahead and release the throttle, accelerate and select the optimum gear in conjunction with PowerShift Advanced.

Full power. Intelligently put on the road.

If you work hard, you should sleep softly.

A good bed is the best sleeping aid. And these facts are sure to get you a good night’s sleep: the bunk in the Actros is 750 mm wide, up to 2,200 mm long and has a fully fledged slatted frame – with an innerspring, 215 mm thick,  mattress as standard. With this level of comfort in the Actros, it’s quite right to say “good night”.

If you work hard, you should sleep softly.
    Uncompromising safety: the assistance systems.
    Safety

    Uncompromising safety: the assistance systems.

Safety is on board. The Actros doesn’t leave you alone at the wheel. Numerous safety assistance systems are there to help you. After all, you’re on the road in a truck from Mercedes‑Benz Trucks – it goes without saying that you feel safe behind the wheel.

The latest generation of Active Drive Assist offers even more safety and comfort, especially on long journeys. From automatic proximity control (including in stop-and-go traffic in traffic jams) to smart Lane Keeping Assist and the Emergency Steering function: if there is a risk of collision when changing lanes, the system can actively intervene and steer your truck back into its own lane. For example, if a health problem causes you to stop driving, the hands-off warning can initiate controlled emergency braking if you fail to react.

    Video thumbnail

Active Brake Assist already fulfils the AEBS (Advanced Emergency Braking System) legislation, which will come into force in September 2028. The 270‑degree fusion technology features enhanced environment detection. This enables the system to react even faster to critical situations. As a result, greater accident prevention can be achieved for vehicles up to 90 km/h as well as for pedestrians and cyclists up to 60 km/h. The system now also clearly indicates if it is not yet fully active.

    Video thumbnail

The advanced, second generation of Active Sideguard Assist can support drivers across the entire speed range when changing lanes or turning with restricted visibility. What’s more, the two-stage warning system can alert drivers to potential hazards so that they can mitigate a critical traffic situation in good time.

    Video thumbnail

Front Guard Assist can increase driving safety even before you set off: it monitors the traffic area in front of the vehicle and supports you in the speed range up to 15 km/h, e.g. when the vehicle is stationary, when moving off or at junctions. If the system detects moving objects in front of the vehicle, such as people, the warning system can help you react in good time with a two-stage hazard warning.

    Video thumbnail

Attention Assist 2 can help to prevent accidents in the event of driver inattentiveness or fatigue by means of visual and acoustic warnings. Using an integrated camera, it records the driver’s visual attention based on their viewing angle as well as the driver’s level of fatigue. All data remains inside the vehicle.
